Audrey turned FOUR on April 3rd . . . and we had a fun filled weekend to celebrate! We started off with her first BIG friend party, and per her request we had it at the place where she takes gymnastics. Other than combining two things she loves, I don't think even she knew what to expect.
And none of us expected that Amelia and David wouldn't be there because poor Amelia was sick with a stomach bug. But we did what we all do at times, we adjusted our expectations, called in for help in executing the event, and I think we did a fairly good job of pulling it off. Audrey had fun leading the routines.
And she seemed to have the most fun when she was just goofing off with her friends (can't you just hear them singing their hearts out)!
We had s'mores cupcakes (again, per her request).
And while to me it seemed like a whirlwind . . . I think it's safe to say that Audrey and her friends had a good time!
If this isn't the picture of "HAPPY" I don't know what is.

My goodness, it looks like everyone had fun.
So sad to hear about Audrey's stomach bug, and David missing the party. Gifts are on their way for both A & A, belatedly.

ADORABLE! All of it...sleeping and eating and playing in her sleeping bag, smore cupcakes, big girl party!! Too bad that Amelia was sick!!
